AM Electrical Services (NI) Ltd is proud to be delivering the electrical works on St Clare's Wood, an £18.3 million landmark housing and regeneration scheme on the site of the former Saint Clare's Convent and Primary School on High Street, Newry.

Led by main contractor H&J Martin Construction for developer Choice Housing, alongside Maple & May and Clonrose Developments, the 8.25-acre development will deliver 88 mixed-tenure homes — 70 social housing properties and 18 two-bed apartments for private and affordable rent.

Designed by Hall Black Douglas Architects in partnership with local firm Gray Designs, the scheme also includes a bespoke community hub and the sympathetic restoration of the site's historic listed chapel. Since construction began in late 2023, our team has been on-site delivering the electrical infrastructure that will bring these new homes to life — proud to play our part in a project that's reshaping Newry's skyline while honouring its heritage.
