ISO 45001:2018 is the replacement to OHSAS 18001 and is the international ISO standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS).
Although ISO 45001 is heavily informed by OHSAS 18001, it’s a distinctly new international standard for occupational health and safety.
Especially geared toward senior management, ISO 45001 has the ultimate goal of helping businesses provide a healthy and safe working environment for their employees and everyone else who visits the workplace. AM Electrical Services (NI) Ltd applied for migration to the new standard in October 2019 and were successful in acquiring the new standard in February 2020 following a 3 day audit.

Our recent successful surveillance audit in February 2021 has reinforced our ongoing commitment to providing and encouraging a safe and healthy environment for all our staff and clients.
